1 crore 56 thousand COVID-19 vaccine doses administered in Chhattisgarh till now

Chhattisgarh Vaccination news update

In Chhattisgarh, the number of vaccine doses administered has crossed the one-crore mark. Till yesterday, 1 crore 56 thousand doses of the Covid vaccine have been administered in the state.

AIR correspondent reports, in Chhattisgarh, the first dose of the Covid vaccine has been administered to 100% frontline workers. Besides, 91 percent of health workers have also been given the first dose of this vaccine. As far as the age group of 18 to 44 years is concerned, about 22 percent in this age group has been given the first dose of the Covid vaccine.

Covid vaccination campaign is going on in full swing in the state. Special efforts are being made for the vaccination in remote tribal areas. Tika Utsav was organised at the special initiative of administration in the village of Korachagarh situated at the forests and mountains in Rajnandgaon district.

The village head and other influential people were made aware through teachers, Anganwadi workers, and Mitanin. As a result, most of the eligible people not only of this village but also from the surrounding villages have got the Covid vaccine.
