When Pratiksha Gupta launched 1SpecialPlace in 2014, online classes and intervention programs were popular but not the norm. Now it’s the new normal and hence a successful venture. 1SpecialPlace works with the mission to leverage technology to offer holistic solutions to those in need. The startup has been awarded by Amazon India, Viridhan E Spark and Hacker Earth for the exemplary work that it has been doing. The startup uses state of the art technology to bring therapies to individuals in locations where it would otherwise be impossible.
What therapies does 1SpecialPlace provide?
Through its early intervention program online group sessions are provided to preschoolers. The program is structured to improve all areas of development like speech, language, fine motor, physical, cognitive, self self skills and social skills of kids.
Through online therapy services for children; problems and disorders like speech and language delay, articulation difficulties, autism spectrum disorder, hearing loss, cerebral palsy, down syndrome, intellectual disability, learning disability and stammering gets treated. Expert doctors provide online speech therapy to children in countries like India, USA, Middle East, UAE, Australia, Singapore and New Zealand via video conferencing. There are customised programs and flexible timings for each child.
Through its online therapy services for adults there are customised programs for treating stammering, voice disorders, pronunciation difficulties, hearing loss, accent modification, stroke, Parkinson’s disease, dementia and aphasia in adults.
