Covid Vaccination: Has everyone received COVID vaccination?

Are you vaccinated? Protect yourself from the variants of the corona by taking your vaccine. Many people are falling prey to the corona. Make sure you get vaccinated today!!

Even after 7-8 months of the vaccination campaign, many health workers and workers have not received the second dose of vaccine

An epidemic like the dangerous and influential corona virus spreading in the country and around the world has stopped the world. Due to this epidemic, there was a situation of lock down which is still going on in some places. To fight this corona pandemic, doctors, health workers, experts, scientists, even our state and central government are doing everything possible to keep people safe. About a year after the outbreak of the corona epidemic, that is, from the month of January 2021, in India, the vaccines fighting against it started being given to the people.

Corona Vaccine Program Statistics

West Bengal crosses the 4 crore vaccination mark, more than 12 lakh doses of corona vaccine given in a single day. According to statistics, more than a quarter of frontline workers have not received a second dose of the vaccine. According to the official vaccination information, states like Punjab, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Delhi have been vaccinated in different forms or levels and in these states, the least number of frontline workers have received both doses of the vaccine to fight against corona. According to the data, 1.83 crore health workers have received the first dose of the vaccine while 1.32 crore workers have received the second dose.

Let us tell you that except in states like Delhi, Karnataka, and Punjab, 95 percent have been given the first dose in almost all the states. In large states like Kerala, Jharkhand, Haryana, about 100 percent of people have been given the first dose while there is 85 percent of people have received their second dose.

In Tamil Nadu, about 40 percent of frontline workers and 60 percent of health workers have received the second dose of the vaccine. The most surprising thing is that Himachal Pradesh was the state giving the highest first dose but only 38 percent of people got the second dose there. Health officials of Himachal Pradesh say that the difference in this ratio of the first and second doses came because they had to wait a long time for the vaccine.

But there are also some states where the figures for people taking the first dose were even less. In Punjab, only 61 percent of health workers were given the first dose of the vaccine, for which officials there are talking about a lack of vaccine, but they have also admitted that they do not have complete vaccination data for their state.

In Delhi, only 87 percent of health workers have received the first dose of the vaccine. In states like Odisha, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Assam, not only the first dose but also the second dose of the vaccine, the figures were very good. In a small state like Goa, about 90 percent of vaccination has been ensured.

So, get your vaccine today and stay protected
