Now, a good news from Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. The recovery percentage of infected patients from coronavirus pandemic is also increasing day by day thus installing a sense of confidence and ray of hope among the residents of Kashmir valley.

"Jammu and Kashmir reported 37 new positive cases yesterday and one death taking the total fatalities to eleven and overall positive cases to 971.

A 72 year old man, a heart patient hailing from Preet Nagar locality of Digiana in Jammu was taken to hospital in an unconscious state where doctors declared him as brought dead. This was the eleventh death in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir due to coronavirus pandemic.

Meanwhile, out of 30 positive cases reported yesterday from Kashmir valley, 18 were from Anantnag whereas Budgam had reported seven cases. Total recoveries in Kashmir Division were nine and the overall recovery percentage in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir so far is 48 percent."

Meanwhile, The COVID-19 Cases have gone up to 2100 in Andhra Pradesh. Atleast 36 Corona Positive Cases have been recorded during the last 24 hours in Andhra Pradesh, as per the AP Health Bulletin. Of the total 2100 cases, 1192 patients have been recovered and successfully discharged from various places in the AP State during the last 24 hours. While 860 persons are under treatment across the State in various hospitals.

Essential commodities and other items have been distributed to the families living in Red Zone areas in the Districts. Even pensions have been distributed in the respective homes of such areas.

Other news update, In Assam, 15 positive cases have been reported in Kamrup Metro district yesterday while another 6 cases are detected today. State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that with this, the number of active cases have gone up to 44 in the state. He said that all the 15 persons are in quarantine . Several areas in Guwahati city have been declared containment zone. Meanwhile, the Managing Director of the ARTFED Mukul Chandra Deka said that the package declared by the Prime Minister would help the handloom and textile sector of Assam. Talking to AIR, Mr. Deka said that this would help the weavers of the state .
