Gujarat has recorded 780 new cases of Covid19 during the last 24 hours. The recovery rate has further improved to 94.23 percent.

Gujarat has recorded 780 new cases of Covid19 during the last 24 hours. The recovery rate has further improved to 94.23 percent.

The total number of Covid19 cases detected so far in Gujarat has reached up to 2 lakh 45 thousand 38.

Out of these, 2 lakh 30 thousand 893 patients recovered. 916 patients recovered during the last 24 hours.  More than 96 lakh 52 thousand tests have been carried out in the state till date. 

Maximum of 160 new cases reported from Ahmedabad, while Surat recorded 145 new cases. At present total active cases in the state are 9839, out of which 61 patients are on a ventilator. 4 patients died yesterday taking the total deaths due to Covid19 up to 4306.

Meanwhile, the night curfew imposed in Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, and Rajkot has been extended till 14th January. It will now remain effective from 10 pm instead of 9 pm.
