All study and no play makes Jack a dull boy. This is very true and one should always keep a balance between work and studies for better results. Keeping your child ready to beat stress and coefficient in the exams is very important. Here are a few tips and tricks that can help your child during exams.

Exam days are the most stressful for children. No matter how much children want, but still they are not able to keep the stress of examination away from themselves. The stress of some children increases to such an extent that they are unable to concentrate even in their studies. This can affect their exams. Sometimes, this stress affects not only their mental but also physical health. However, if you want to keep children stress free during the exam days, then you can adopt these tips-

Balance your study and play

One of the main reasons for stress in a child’s mind on exam days is always talking about studies. Actually, on the one hand, children are already worried about studies, on the other hand, the atmosphere of the house is also stressful for the child. That is why it is important that you do not always talk to the child about studies, but take a walk or play with him for a while. By doing other activities, the child's mood is fresh, and he can perform better.

Create study plan

Usually parents talk to their children only about studies, due to which the child gets upset. Of course, at this time children need to do extra studies, but for this it is necessary that you make a study plan. For example, how long will the child study throughout the day and how long does he have to take breaks. How many study parts it will cover in one go, plan all these in advance. In this way, planning in advance will reduce the stress of the child

Food and diet play an important role during exams

The food and drink of the children is also very important during the exam days. During exams, children feel extra hungry. But instead of feeding heavy or fried food to the children, give them something to eat once in a while. Also, keep the quantity of food moderate and give him healthy snacks like roasted almonds or makhana etc. This will keep the child full for a long time and maintain their energy level. Not only this, a balanced diet lowers the stress levels of children.

Relax : Take breaks at regular intervals

If the child is under extra stress about studies, you can do some relaxation activities with them. Deep breathing and meditation can help.  Apart from this, you must let them do whatever they like for some time like listening to music or playing a game. Actually, this type of activity acts like a stress buster for the child.

Follow these tips and these can work wonders for your child and help them pass with flying colours. Exams are not the sole aim to judge the child. Give him some good goals other than exams such as a better future and career. This will help them perceive that exams are an important part of life. Extra curricular activities are also important and must be included in daily life. So , help your child so that he can deal with exams with lower stress and better motivation
