Two more positive Covid 19 cases were declared by AIIMS. One of them is a ward boy and another was patients attendant in Urology department 

The All India Institute Of Medical Sciences is planning to conduct a clinical trial of the convalescent plasma therapy in the treatment of COVID-19 and modalities of taking approvals from the Drug Controller General of India are being worked out. AIIMS Director Dr Randeep Guleria said the mode of treatment in COVID-19 is still at an "experimental stage" and there is a need for good and well conducted research trials before its benefit and this mode of therapy can be recommended for routine use in coronavirus patients. "AIIMS is working with the ICMR to conduct a clinical trial on the efficacy of convalescent plasma therapy in COVID-19 patients," he said.

In other Updates

- Uttar Pradesh has reported 66 fresh cases of coronavirus after which its total tally has gone up to 2,053. Meanwhile, 462 patients have been declared recovered and have been discharged from hospitals, including 64 recovered today. The state has reported 34 coronavirus deaths so far.

-In the mean time, Indore reporte a major ascent of 94 positive cases in the late night announcement on Tuesday (28 April) as the quantity of contaminated individuals expanded to 2,471 in Madhya Pradesh.

-The loss of life from COVID-19 expanded to 122 on Tuesday. Nine people have died due to coronavirus disease in the state during  last 24 hours. Three for Ujjain, two in Indore and one each in Bhopal, Raisen, Dewas and Ashoknagar were the fatalities.

-Jabalpur which had recouped to get into the green zone with less cases was back in the Red zone. That could mean an expansion of lockdown past May 3.

-Four locale of the state, Burhanpur, Ashoknagar, Shahdol and Rewa recorded their first cases spreading the infection to 31 of 52 regions in the state on Tuesday.

-Bhopal detailed 30 new cases followed by 12 in Raisen, four each in Dhar and Ujjain, two each in Shahdol and Rewa, one each in Burhanpur, Ashoknagar, Jabalpur and Hoshangabad.

-Indore with 1,466 cases remains the most noticeably awful influenced in the state.Bhopal is a far off second with 458, while Ujjain is at 123, Khargone 61,Jabalpur70, Raisen 45, Dhar 40, Hoshangabad 34, Khandwa 23,Agar Malwa, 24 Dewas 11.
