Intrastate travelers to Rajasthan are relieved from remaining in 14-day mandatory quarantine. Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has reportedly null and void has still appealed to people to maintain limited movement and take extreme precautions.
Ashok Gehlot has also apparently decided to permit religious places in rural areas which magnetize less than 50 devotees each day to reopen from July 1.
But the State government has asked devotees to refrain from embarking on Kanwar Yatra to other States. The govt said the States of Uttar Pradesh and Uttrakhand have conveyed that they might not permit kanwarias to enter their States given the COVID-19 pandemic.
The government has said that in its view such a yatra could spread Coronavirus. "We expect devotees to carry prayers within their homes and perform ceremonies locally," a senior officer was quoted as saying. He said neighboring States where devotees choose Kanwar yatra too have told their own people to hold out religious ceremonies reception or locally.
Gehlot has also extended the COVID awareness campaign by every week to July 7 to strengthen upon masses the importance of taking preventive measures as a matter of day-to-day living.
Rajasthan government on Sunday decided to permit religious places in rural areas, which a limited number of devotees visit, to open from July 1.
According to the State government's decision, all safety measures, including social distancing, will need to be practiced mandatorily to remain shielded from COVID-19.
The government also decided to get rid of the condition of mandatory 14-day home quarantine for people arriving in Rajasthan from different parts of the country.
The decisions were taken at a high-level meeting held by the Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot at his residence on Sunday.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, during a statement, mentioned, "Religious and places of devotion, with a limited number of devotees, in rural areas which were pack up thanks to lockdown are going to be allowed to open from July 1 . In these religious places, social distancing alongside all safety measures for prevention of Coronavirus is going to be mandatory".

"Orders have also been issued to get rid of conditions of the mandatory 14-day home quarantine for people arriving in Rajasthan from different parts of the country," CM Gehlot added.
