Rajasthan leads in Coronavirus recovery rate with 74% way better than national average


The recovery rate of COVID-19 patients has improved to more than 74 percent in Rajasthan. 8 thousand 775 out of a total of 11,838 COVID patients have recovered so far in the state. The number of active patients of COVID-19 in the state now stands at 2 thousand 798. While 265 persons died due to Corona infection.

As per AIR reports, six districts are having more than 100 active patients which includes Jaipur, Jodhpur, Bharatpur, Pali, Alwar and Sikar. There are 14 districts which have more than 50 active patients. In six districts, the number of active patients of COVID-19 is less than 10. Curfew has been imposed in more than 70 villages of Bharatpur district after the Corona outbreak. Meanwhile, the State Government's Task Force has recommended a package of 700 crores rupees to bring back the industries on the track that are affected due to the lockdown.

Apart from this, it has been proposed to waive off the permanent charge of electricity bills of the lockdown period of industries along with cheap loans and higher subsidy. In this report, it has also been proposed to give 1500 rupees for three months to the people associated with the tourism industry.

Meanwhile, the Central Government said that the recovery rate reached 49.21 percent in the country and the total number of recovered people from corona virus reached 1,41029. During the last 24 hours, 5,823 people have been cured by this virus. Meanwhile, the Indian Council of Medical Research has achieved the remarkable feat yesterday by crossing the 1,50,000 tests per day mark. Within 24 hours, a total of one lakh 1,51808 tests of Coronavirus were conducted by the various laboratories in the country.

Health and Family Welfare Ministry said,  9,996 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the last 24 hours taking the total number of cases to two lakh 86,579 in the country. During the last 24 hours, 357 deaths have been registered taking the nationwide toll to 8,102. The case fatality rate stood at 2.82 percent in the country and the total active corona cases in the country are 1,37448.

ICMR said that 52,13,140 tests have been conducted in the country so far. ICMR is continuously scaling up its testing facilities for COVID-19 by giving approval to government and private laboratories. As of now, a total of 837 laboratories across India have been given the approval to conduct the test for COVID-19 including 602 government laboratories and 235 private laboratories' chains.
