Saudi Arabia decided in June to limit the number of domestic pilgrims attending the haj to around 1,000 to prevent the spread of the coronavirus

Saudi Arabia reported wellbeing conventions to forestall the spread of the new coronavirus in the 2020 haj season, restricting social occasions and gatherings between travelers, the state news organization said on Monday.

Saudi Arabia chose in June to restrict the number of local travelers going to the haj to around 1,000 to forestall the spread of the coronavirus, in the wake of banishing Muslims abroad from the custom for the first year in quite a while.

Contacting the Kaaba, the holiest site in Islam will be restricted during the haj this year, and a social separating space of a meter and a half between every explorer during the ceremonies including mass supplications and keeping in mind that in the Kaaba orbiting region will be forced, an announcement by the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC) expounded.

Additionally, access to blessed haj destinations at Mona, Muzdalifah, and Arafat will be restricted to those with haj grants beginning Sunday, July 19 till Aug. 2, 2020, and wearing veils constantly will be required for the two travelers and coordinators.
