Heart palpitations are a contraction of the heart muscle, which pushes blood throughout the body.  Heart blockage occurs when these electrical impulses are delayed or stopped, causing the heart to not beat regularly. Heart blockage can occur due to many reasons, one of which is the accumulation of plaque in the blood vessels. 

Heart blockage symptoms in females 

  1. Skipped heart beats

Skip beats are felt in first-degree heart blocks. That is, the sudden feeling is not stopping your heartbeat. This is the least serious type of heart block, and it usually does not require treatment. But this is a sign that there may be a blockage in your body and that you should see a doctor.

  1. Sudden dizziness

Second-degree heart blockage occurs when some electrical impulses never reach the heart, causing it to stop beating and causing severe dizziness. Sometimes it happens suddenly in women, then it is a sign that they may have a blockage. In this case, they may require a pacemaker, and the ventricle chambers are checked by the doctor.

  1. Shortness of breath while climbing stairs

If you are not suffering from obesity and there is no problem in your body, then breathlessness while climbing stairs can be a sign of heart disease. This can be a sign that your blood circulation is not correct or that your heart is not pumping properly, which is causing your breathlessness. So women should not ignore it. 

  1. Lightheadedness and fainting

One of the biggest signs of heart disease is that you may suddenly feel dizzy or you may faint. This can be due to the heart not pumping properly due to blockage. So, if you suddenly feel unsteady and have chest discomfort or shortness of breath, call your doctor right away.

  1. Difficulty in doing exercise

It is very important for our body to have proper blood circulation during exercise. In such a situation, there is difficulty in exercising due to not pumping blood around the body. This could mean that your blood pressure has dropped because your heart is not able to pump as well as it should and when you exercise.
