Treat back ache and skin issues at home

Learn the most effective way to treat problems like back problems and skin issues at home and avoid going to the doctor.

These are the 2 most common less serious diseases for which people go to the doctor which is backache and skin issues

Back pain Skin inflammation (Dermatitis) Heartburn and indigestion Nasal congestion (blocked nose) Constipation Migraines Coughs Acne Sprains and strains Headaches Back pain

Most of the problems of back and back pain are cured with medicines available at the medical store. Apart from this, it can also be cured by self-care and some other methods.

Self-care tips for backacke:

Take paracetamol or ibuprofen for pain relief. If you are taking Ibuprofen, make sure to take it with food. Before taking any medicine, read the directions given with it.
Hot or cold compression packs (cold and hot compress packs) are readily available at large pharmacies. These help in relieving pain.
You can also make your own cold compress pack by wrapping frozen food or ice cubes in the fridge in a towel.
Keep a small cushion under your knees while sleeping. If you are lying on your back, use pillows to support your knees.
Keep doing your daily chores and physical activities as much as possible.
Be positive: Studies show that if you stay positive, your chances of a quick recovery increase.
Pick up something carefully.
Contact your doctor if your back or back pain doesn't get better after at least two weeks of taking good care of yourself, or if you have different symptoms and your back pain becomes severe.

Skin inflammation (Dermatitis)

Dermatitis (inflammation of the skin) can cause irritation or allergic problems.

Self-care tips:

Don't itch – Itching can damage your skin and lead to infection due to bacteria getting inside. Keep your nails short. Instead of itching with the nail, you can touch the area with your finger. Stay away from allergens and irritants on the skin, so that you do not come in contact with them the next time. Moisturizing creams called emollients help to relieve the symptoms of dermatitis. It is available in supermarkets and pharmacies. An odorless emollient is better for treating dermatitis. Use other soap substitutes such as E45 or Diprobase instead of soap. If the rash does not go away with self-care techniques, talk to your pharmacist or your doctor.
