Uttar Pradesh government is working systematically to control the coronavirus infection in the state. More than 1.50 lakh beds have been added to various hospitals to meet the challenge.

Uttar Pradesh government is working systematically to control the coronavirus infection in the state. More than 1.50 lakh beds have been added to various hospitals to meet the challenge.
 
So far, more than 2.24 crore Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the state. UP tops the list of states in conducting Corona tests. AIR correspondent reports that one lakh,34 thousand 633 samples were tested in a day yesterday and as of now a total of 2 crores 24 lakh 39 thousand 369 samples have been tested in the state.
 

Additional Chief secretary Health Amit Mohan Prasad told yesterday that during the last 24 hours one thousand 247 news patients were detected and there are 17 thousand 245 active cases of Covid 19 in the state.

The recovery rate of Corona has increased to 95.57 percent and so far a total of 5 lakh 49 thousand 190 people have recovered and discharged.

 
The E-Sanjivani portal has been started for the treatment of Covid patients and proved very useful. A total of 2 lakh 94 thousand 778 people have received medical consultation through the E sanjivani portal so far.

Meanwhile, training of medical staff for proper vaccination of corona at the district level is underway.
