Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has self isolated himself after suffering from coronavirus-like symptoms.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has been unwell and will undergo coronavirus test. Kejriwal has been suffering from fever since Sunday.

Arvind Kejriwal has complained of fever and sore throat, inducing worries. He will now undergo tests to check whether he has caught the coronavirus.

The Delhi Chief Minister has cancelled all his meetings since Sunday afternoon and has also isolated himself, said sources.

AAP leader Sanjay Singh said that Kejriwal will undergo a coronavirus test on Tuesday. "Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal was complaining of fever and soar throat since yesterday, after which he isolated himself at his residence. He will undergo COVID-19 test tomorrow. He is also diabetic," Sanjay Singh said.

Officials said that CM Kejriwal had attended a Cabinet meeting on Sunday morning and after which, he did not attend any meeting. He has self-isolated himself after developing the fever.

Kejriwal was last seen on Sunday evening during an online media briefing. Kejriwal made an announcement on about the Delhi government's decision to make all Delhi government and private hospitals exclusive for residents of Delhi during the COVID-19 crisis. The decision was made following a huge controversy caused due to the unavailability of beds in hospitals for coronavirus patients.

Delhi has reported a total of 28,936 coronavirus cases while 812 death cases have been recorded so far.

Meanwhile, coronavirus cases in India have risen by almost 10,000 on Sunday.
India recorded 9,983 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday, increasing the total case tally to over 2.56 lakh. The death toll has also crossed the 7,000 mark in the country.
