Exercises for Varicose Veins: If blue (varicose) veins are visible on the legs or any part of the body, then you can practice some exercises regularly.

You must have often seen blue or purple veins on your or other people's hands, and feet. It is not normal to see blue veins on the hands or feet. This condition can be extremely painful and serious. Sometimes this problem can affect the entire routine of the person. This condition is known as Varicose Veins. This problem occurs when blood pools in the veins. Due to this, the veins appear large and dilated.

Blue or varicose veins appear on the body, especially in the legs. Veins may also appear purple and red in many people. If you have been seeing protruding veins on the legs for a long time, then it is very important to get it treated. You can reduce the symptoms of varicose veins with the help of some exercises. 

Is walking good for varicose veins?

The answer is yes. If varicose veins are visible on the body, then you must practice walking daily. By walking for at least 30 minutes daily, the blood circulation in the veins starts getting better. Due to this, the blood stored in the veins starts flowing to other parts of the body. Due to this the bulging blue veins gradually become normal.

Exercises for varicose veins 

Leg lifts

Regular practice of leg lift exercises can help reduce the symptoms of varicose veins. No equipment is needed to do this exercise. To do leg lifts, lie down on your back. Now lift one leg up and then bring it down. After this, lift the other leg up and bring it down. You can do this continuously for 5-7 minutes. This will improve blood circulation and reduce the exercise for Varicose Veins in the Legs.

Go cycling

Cycling is considered one of the best exercises. Cycling is a full-body workout, which can help in healing varicose veins. Regular cycling makes muscles strong. This helps to pump blood to the muscles and veins. Cycling also improves blood flow. If you do not have a bicycle or if you cannot do cycling, then you can try the bicycle leg exercise.

To do the bicycle leg exercise, lie down on your back. Bend both your legs at the knees and ride like a bicycle in the air.

Lunges Exercise

You can also practice lunges exercises to cure varicose veins. Doing lunges exercises strengthens the muscles. This improves blood flow in the veins and helps it reach the heart. By doing regular lunges exercises, the blood stored in the veins gradually starts reaching other parts of the body.

To do the lunges exercise, you should stand straight on the ground. Step your left leg forward and bend it at the knee. After this, rest the knee of your right leg on the ground. Let the toes of the right foot remain on the ground. Keep both your hands on your waist. Stay in this position for a while and then do the same with the other leg.

Hand stretching exercises

If you are seeing bulging blue veins on your hands, then you can practice hand stretching exercises. For this, you straighten both your hands in front or upwards. After this, stretch both hands by interlocking them. You can practice this exercise for 5-8 minutes. This will stretch the muscles and nerves of the hands, and the blood flow in the veins of the hands will also improve.

Performing daily walks, cycling, leg lifts, lunges, and hand stretching exercises can help reduce the symptoms of varicose veins.
