Only asymptomatic staff or visitors are going to be allowed

Health Ministry has issued guidelines for Offices on preventive measures to contain the spread of COVID-19. Only asymptomatic staff or visitors are going to be allowed. Their entry is going to be allowed if they're wearing a mask. Mandatory sanitizer dispensers and thermal screening provisions at the doorway. There'll be separate entry and exit for workers and visitors.

There should be specific marking with sufficient distance for queue management and social distancing norms. There should be proper crowd management in parking lots and out of doors the premises. There must be effective and frequent sanitation and also cleaning and regular disinfection. There must be the safe disposal of face covers, masks, gloves, etc. Poster, Standee, and Audio Visual on COVID Preventive Measures must be displayed in the least times.

The airconditioning must be with a temperature of 24 to 30 degrees Celcius and a ratio of 40 to 70%. There must be an intake of fresh air and cross ventilation. It asked to avoid frontline work and take extra precautions for high-risk employees, like older people and pregnant employees.



Health Ministry said, in religious places, footwear to be kept inside own vehicle and touching of statues, idols, holy books isn't allowed. Recorded devotional music to be played and choir or singing groups to be avoided. Shopping malls should take precautions while handling supplies and there must be thermal screening of staff for deliveries. Social Distancing ought to be a must within and out of doors shops, elevators, cafes. Gaming areas and cinema halls to stay closed.

Instructions:

1. Officers/staff residing within the containment zones should inform the supervisory officers and work from home.
2. Staff/drivers residing in containment zones shouldn't be allowed to drive vehicles.
3. Drivers of office cabs to take care of social distancing and follow required dos and don’ts
4. Avoid frontline work and take extra precautions for high-risk employees.
5. Suspend the issue of visitors/temporary passes and screen the permitted visitors properly.
6. All meetings should be held via video conferencing.
7. Staggered office hours, lunch hours and occasional breaks.
8. Face covers/masks and gloves for workers in valet parking.
9. A limited number of individuals to be allowed in elevators.
10. Ensure regular supply of hand sanitizers/soap/running water in washrooms.
