Rich in omega-3 fatty acids and fiber, they aid in the detoxification of your colon, an important part of your digestive system. These foods reduce the chances of metal poisoning and inflammation.

  1. Avoid Fish and Processed Foods

Many fish, such as tuna, swordfish, and mackerel, can contain heavy metals such as mercury, which affects your health in many more ways. These come with harmful additives that cause harm to the body. Also, you should avoid consuming processed foods as these ingredients are used to make them tasty.

Along with all these things, it is also important to keep in mind that when you are on heavy metal detox, do not consume alcohol. Alcohol is too toxic anyway. In addition, it can impair your liver's ability to flush out other toxins. So if you want to keep your mind right, then say no to alcohol and follow this special diet.
