Dengue is very much common during the monsoon season. Here are some easy home tips to get rid of the same

The deadly mosquito-borne disease; dengue is caused by the bite of a female mosquito during the daytime. Dengue patients tend to have a high fever that lasts for a couple of weeks. The important thing here is these mosquitoes generally bite during the daytime. These mosquitoes breed in clean water and not in dirty drain water. It is not possible to eradicate them completely because they can live in hot environments too. As soon as it comes in contact with water, it becomes an adult mosquito that is dangerous.

Symptoms

High fever, headache, body ache, loss of appetite, vomiting, diarrhea, pain in eyes, fatigue, lethargy, knee pain, red patches in body, blood from the nose.

Tips to improve platelets count in patients

Goat’s milk - Goat milk has a lot of medicinal properties which leads to a quick recovery in dengue fever. Cow's milk needs 8 hours to get digested while goat's milk is digested in just 20 minutes. This is the reason that its consumption is also good for digestion.

Coconut water - Drink plenty of coconut water to get rid of dengue fever. The nutrients present in it like minerals and electrolytes helps in strengthening the body.

Basil - Boiling 10-12 basil leaves and 2 gm black pepper in water is also beneficial. Cool it and drink it 4-5 times a day. This boosts our body's immunity. 

Fenugreek leaves - Soak fenugreek leaves in water for some time and then consume them. If leaves are not available, you can also add fenugreek powder in water, it will cure dengue fever. 

Giloy - It helps in increasing the metabolism, keeping the immune system strong, and protecting the body from infection. In dengue, the blood cells of the patient starts decreasing. In such a situation, giloy is a panacea. Boil its stem in water and keep boiling till the water reduces to half. You can also add basil leaves to it. Drink this water regularly, you will get instant relief.

Beetroot and Carrot - Mix 3 - 4 spoons of beetroot juice in a glass of carrot juice and give it to the dengue patient. This increases the resistance. This increases the number of blood cells starts rapidly. 

Red fruits and vegetables - Red fruits and vegetables like tomatoes, plums, watermelon, cherries, etc are beneficial for dengue patients. It contains a lot of anti-oxidants, due to which the amount of blood cells in the body increases rapidly.

Papaya leaves - The juice of papaya leaves not only increases the cells but also helps to remove pain, weakness, and fatigue, etc from the body. You can also grind its leaves and take it or as a drink by boiling the leaves in water.

Turmeric milk - Turmeric milk is not only beneficial for the quick healing of wounds but also useful in providing instant relief from dengue fever. For effective results, drink half a teaspoon of turmeric in lukewarm milk.
