Nashik division of Maharashtra accounts Coronavirus positive cases and fatalities from its five districts.

Two more Coronavirus related fatalities in Malegaon. The patients were under treatment at the sub-civil hospital and Jeevan Hospital in Malegaon, who died on Wednesday taking the total death count in the town to 10. At the same time, three fresh cases were detected at Nandurbar and six in Dhule that surged the number of confirmed patients in the Nashik division to 162.

One a 45-year-old man and the other 49-year-old woman who was admitted to the isolation wards on April 16, the official said. Another 35-year-old man, who had shown symptoms of Coronavirus, also died, but his test results are awaited from Government Medical College and Hospital laboratory in Dhule, where his throat samples are sent.

The Nashik division encompasses Nashik, Dhule, Jalgaon, Nandubar and Ahmednagar districts. Nashik district alone has 111 patients, followed by Ahmednagar (31), Dhule (8), Nandubar (7), and Jalgaon (5).

Reportedly, Ahmednagar also accounts for 20 individuals who have got cured of the disease, while Nashik and Jalgaon have two patients each who have recovered.

The first sample tests of 10 patients are reported negative in Malegaon If the second sample tests also come negative then, the patients could be released from the hospital.

In Dhule, five from the city and one from Shindkheda are tested positive according to the officials.

Nandubar also reported, three positive cases after swab samples tested at GMCH, Dhule.

Jalgaon district accounted for five positive cases of which, one is cured, two and two died before their swabs test reports came positive.
