The gender divide complicates the issue of workplace behaviour amongst men, women and millennials

A study by an UK based university in association with a job search website, show how men, women and millennials are emotionally triggered at their workplaces, to feel a variety of emotions. The researched highlighted the gender divide which complicates the problem even further.

The report remarks that while men are more emotional in the workplace compared to women, women are more likely to be stressed and frustrated than men. Men tend to be more emotionally invested in their jobs, and experience negative feelings if they have not performed up to the mark.

Moreover, men were also found to be twice as likely as women to take criticism at heart or get upset if they feel their ideas are being ignored. They also take drastic action fuelled by emotions, being 20% more likely to quit job when times are tough than women.
