For districts with high incidence of Coronavirus cases in Madhya Pradesh, there will be lockdown for two consecutive days every week,

There will be lockdown for two  consecutive days every week, including Sundays, in districts with high incidence of coronavirus cases in Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said on Monday. The government has also decided to enforce the night curfew in every district from 8 pm to 5 am in view of rising cases."All activities, except essential services, will be restricted during this period," Chouhan said in a review meeting. The two-day lockdown will include Sundays, but another day, either Saturday or Monday, will be decided by the district crisis management group, he said.

In Madhya Pradesh, the state Government has instructed that the Independence Day celebration programmes should be organized in a limited manner in all the districts in view of the corona virus pandemic.The Government has also instructed that full precautions and ness should be maintained in these programmes. In a review meeting, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that all precautions should be taken as the Corona virus pandemic is not over yet.

To make people abide by contaInment Madhya Pradesh, the government will now run a Roko -Toko (रोको टोको) means stop and campaign for those who do not wear masks. As the Use of masks is mandatory in all public places in the state. Now selected voluntary organizations will provide masks to the people who do not wear masks in public places and will charge an amount of Rs 20 per mask from the concerned.

In the guidelines issued by the state government, it has been said that the collector will select voluntary organizations in the district for this work. The number of persons available ,credibility and efficiency of the organization will be taken into consideration while making the selection. Collectors will make available suitable places to these organizations for the distribution of masks. The selected organizations will be provided 100 masks created under 'Jeevan Shakti Yojana' on credit. On sale of the mask, the organizations will pay the concerned urban body at the rate of Rs 11 per mask. Meanwhile,the COVID-19 case count in Madhya Pradesh climbed to 17,632 with addition of 431 new cases in the last 24 hours. The death toll in the state has risen to 653. A total of 197 persons were discharged from hospitals yesterday taking the number of the recovered cases to 12,876. 

Meanwhile, three-member team led by Joint Secretary in Health and Family Welfare Ministry Lav Agarwal has instructed Bihar government to enforce guidelines strictly in the containment zones and limit people's movement in order to contain the spread of the virus. After visiting containment zones of Patna and Gaya Mr . Agrawal has also asked the state officials to prepare strategy for tracing and breaking the Covid-19 chain. The central team has advised the state government to continue with house to house screening at regular intervals and rope in more health workers for this work. The team asked the state to strengthen its medical teams and motivate doctors for treatment of Covid patients. The Joint Secretary Lav Agrawal has asked the officials to address concerns raised by people on social media regarding Covid-19 in Bihar.

Meanwhile the number of positive cases of Coronavirus infection has mounted to 27,455 with reporting of 1076 fresh cases. 17,535 patients have recovered. 9,732 patients are undergoing treatment in various hospitals. 217 patients have so far died due to Corona in the state. The recovery rate in Bihar is 64 percent.
