After this, you raise your hips and slowly bring both legs forward, as far as you can bring. In the meantime, maintain the balance of your body. Don't rush too much. If the balance is not being made then you can also take the support of the wall. Now keep the head down, legs up, eyes straight, and exhale. You have to stay in this position for a while. How long you should do sirsasana depends on your ability. You can do Shirshasana according to your ability for 30 seconds to 15 minutes. If you are a beginner, start with 30 seconds and gradually increase the time. Along with this, do not force any kind of force in doing a headstand.

Some people do not know when to do a headstand and they start practicing headstand at any time which is completely wrong. The best time to do Sirsasana is in the morning or evening. Before doing a headstand, warm up your body a little, and only then do a headstand. If you do yoga, then you can do a headstand at the end of the yoga session and do Savasana immediately after that. You will get the benefits of doing shirshasana only when you practice it at the right time and in the right way.
