Why is Chest Infection on high rise in India post pandemic?

We probably do not know that all these diseases have a big role in the premature deaths in our country. TB infection is spreading like an epidemic in our country and the surprising thing is that we are not fully aware of it. Let us know the details.

If there is a possibility of chest infection and your family physician is not able to control it in a week or ten days and the problem is increasing day by day, then you should immediately consult an experienced thoracic surgeon.

India and Tb

We are probably the oldest in our country and common people's diseases like TB. We are forgetting diseases like malaria, leprosy, cholera, and kala-azar as if all these stigmatized diseases have been uprooted from our country long ago.

It seems that TB infection has become a part of our life, which keeps coming and going to meet our bodies.

What is a chest infection?

Tuberculosis has a huge role in chest infection in a developing country like India.

Pneumonia comes second in the causes of a chest infection after TB.

If pneumonia is not brought under control in time, the patient has to face dire consequences. Apart from this, there are many other types of infections in the chest, which keep the lungs destroyed.

Negligence can be dangerous

If a chest infection is not brought under control in time, then fatal consequences can occur.

If TB infection is not completely eradicated on time, then in a way this infection itself will become incurable and any TB medicine will stop working.

The second thing is that TB infection will gradually destroy the lungs. Then nothing will be left except one lung lost.

Similarly, if the infection of pneumonia is not controlled, then pus will be formed in the chest. This pus will prove to be fatal for both your lungs and your life.

Why does a chest infection happen?

Due to chest infection, where on the one hand malnutrition i.e. lack of healthy and balanced diet and on the other hand due to a contaminated environment, there is the abundance of germs in the air. Along with this, people have a modern and exercise-less lifestyle, lack complete sleep, and have a stressed mentality.

Apart from this, there are many other reasons such as daily consumption of drugs and alcohol, the prevalence of bidi-cigarettes, and uncontrolled and irregular eating. The combined effect of all these is choking the lungs.

People do not understand that the lungs are also in dire need of clean air containing oxygen. Without it, the lungs can never remain healthy. If the lungs get less amount of oxygen with every breath, then these same lungs will be vulnerable to infection very quickly.

So, start avoiding the above-mentioned causative factors, and breathe freely this year 2022 with a healthy lifestyle.
