Why sugar is harmful for your child?

Did you know that feeding such foods to a child under the age of 2 years, in which there is added sugar, can be fatal for the child? Know why it is harmful.

Do you feed your baby any fruit and vegetable after mashing it, then he expels it from the whole mouth again? But when you feed him something sweet, he easily swallows it and even sighs from his mouth. Often parents like to feed sweets to their child on a happy occasion, but do you know that feeding such foods to a child under the age of 2 years, which contains added sugar can be fatal for the child. It happens occasionally but doing so regularly can affect the health of your baby. Let us know the harm caused by added sugar on the child's body.

Which things contain added sugar?

Feeding your baby sweets, especially those containing added sugar, in the first two years of birth can adversely affect the development of the baby. Added sugar is the addition of sugar to foods while the food is being processed. Sugar is added to foods such as sweeteners, syrups, and fruit/vegetable juices. Yogurt, baby snacks, fruit drinks, sweets, and sweet bakery foods should not be fed to children as they adversely affect their health.

Why should they not be included in the diet?

During the first twenty-four months of birth, babies need better growth, which requires a lot of nutrients and calories. Generally, the amount of calories in foods that contain added sugar is also very high but the amount of nutrients is found in them.

At the age of 2, children already eat a limited amount of food, but we should keep in mind that whatever they eat is beneficial for their body, so do not give such foods, which affect their health. Therefore, foods with added sugar should be removed from their diet.

What can be the effect of high sugary foods on children?

Feeding children high sugar foods during the early years can lead to obesity, heart disease, and tooth decay at an early age. This may be because what we feed the babies in the beginning, they become fond of the same things and fall for the same things. Later, these problems increase their sugar cravings and they do not eat such things, which are sour or which have a sharp taste. Therefore, do not feed your children foods with added sugar in the beginning.
