Do you sweat too much? Know what is its treatment according to Ayurveda

Excessive Sweating Causes: Sweating is very normal, but some people sweat a lot. This can also happen due to some disease in the body.Let us know some ayurvedic therapies to reduce body sweat.

During the summer season, all of us sweat from our bodies. However, in some cases, you may also sweat during the winter season like whenever you do any physical activity, exercise, or do some strenuous work. Sweating is very normal for the body and it is also very important for lowering the body temperature. In addition, sweating also helps in flushing out toxins from your body. But it is often seen that some people sweat more than others. Although there can be many reasons for this but in some cases, it can also be a sign of some serious disease. 

Excessive Sweating Causes

Excessive sweating often occurs when you are suffering from any disease like pineal or thyroid gland disorder, diabetes mellitus, menopause, fever, anxiety and heart disease, etc. But sometimes you can sweat profusely without any disease, mainly when the nerves that trigger the sweat glands become overactive. Due to the consumption of many medicines, there is heat in the body, due to which more sweat is released from the body. Apart from this, one of the main reasons for excessive sweating is the increase of bile in the body.


What are Ayurvedic Remedies For Excessive Sweating?

If the problem of excessive sweating is related to a health condition, then there is not much you can do about it. In this situation you need to first seek treatment for your own disease. But as we mentioned, one of the main reasons for excessive sweating is the increase of bile in the body. Balancing the pitta dosha in the body can go a long way in reducing excessive sweating, body heat, body odor as well as body irritation etc. 

1. Coriander Water

  • Take coriander seeds and grind them.
  • Then take some water in a vessel and add coriander seed powder to it.
  • Leave it overnight.
  • Drink this water in the morning.
  1. Poppy seeds water
  • Boil one teaspoon of poppy seeds in 2 liters of water for 20 minutes.
  • Filter it and store it in a bottle or any vessel.
  • Drink this water instead of plain water throughout the day. it will benefit you
  1. Body Paste
  • Mix anantmool root (sariva), sandalwood, amla and poppy seeds powder in rose water.
  •  Apply it to your body and wash off after 15-20 minutes.
  • Similarly, make a paste of white sandalwood and apply it to those parts of your body from where excessive sweating comes.
  1. Ayurvedic churna 
  • Boil 20 grams nalpamaradi churna in water for 15-20 minutes. Filter it and use it instead of plain water to wash the body.
  1. Make changes in diet
  • Avoid excessive consumption of spicy, sour foods
  • Eat less hot foods
  • Soak 8-10 raisins in water at night, and consume it empty in the morning.
  • Include bitter and astringent foods in the diet
