Jitendra Awhad, the Maharashtra Housing Minister, who was in self-quarantine for 14 days after his security staff was tested positive for novel Coronavirus, has now got admitted to a private hospital in Mulund as a precautionary measure.
A Fortis Hospital official confirms has declared the development but refrained from divulging any details.
The minister in a message had earlier said that his first test was negative for coronavirus, but as a precaution, he has decided to self-quarantine. Maharashtra is the worst-hit State in the country with 5218 confirmed Coronavirus cased and 251 fatalities.
