In Meghalaya, as COVID cases are surging and efforts are on to tackle and contain the spread, Health Minister Prestone Tynsong has urged the people not to come out unnecessarily from their houses. He reminded the people to wear masks and follow the COVID protocols strictly. He further requested the citizens to get vaccinated at the earliest.

The active COVID 19 cases in the State have shown no improvement as the positivity rate is at 8.23 percent.
