Stay fit with simple exercises

Exercise not only makes you physically fit, but also makes you mentally and emotionally fit. Let's discuss some advantages and how to start exercising right now.

How many of us want to be physically fit? I am sure, literally everyone. Our body is like metal; if it does not keep moving, it rusts. Basically, what I mean is that if we stop doing physical activity, our body's muscles get stiff. Stiff muscle causes a lot of pain and difficulty in moving. Our level of physical activity has decreased as a result of spending nine to ten hours a day at work before returning home to relax. This may lead to numerous health problems.

We all should consider including a little bit of physical activity in our daily routine. We can give 15 to 30 minutes of our day to any kind of physical activity. It will surely relax your muscles and relieve the pain if you have any. In the pandemic, we all learned new things. Some people have started focusing on their health and fitness. From trying out new recipes to starting to do exercise, some have also started practicing yoga.

Here are some simple exercises for everyone:

  • Lunges
  • Squats
  • Push-ups
  • Walking
  • Jogging
  • Skipping

There are plenty of different exercises for people with different needs. Exercise for beginners, old people, bodybuilders, and movie actors. There are different exercises for all injuries and body pains, such as back pain, shoulder pain, neck pain, joint pain, and many more. Exercises can also help people suffering from spondylitis and sciatica.

I know how hard it is to start exercising for some people, even if they start doing it, they fail to be consistent. Actually, we don't like change; therefore, a sudden change in our routine makes us frustrated, and we end up quitting.

So let's see how we can start exercising and stick to it:

Take it slow - Start allotting very little time for exercise. You don’t have to work out for hours in the gym. You can start at home. As per your convenience, give yourself 10–15 minutes for exercise, and try to be consistent for a few days unless you form a habit. Gradually increase your time for exercise.

Be kind to yourself - You don't need to pressure yourself for faster results. Go slow, look at your past mistakes, learn from them, and believe in yourself.

Set realistic goals - Sometimes, we set goals that are unachievable. Expecting too much can lead to frustration. It's not some kind of magic that will make you slim and fit overnight. This needs patience and consistency. You can also make consistency a goal to achieve, which is more important.

Exercise doesn't have to be boring and painful. It can also be fun. Basically, any kind of physical activity is a must. So, if you don't like to exercise, you can play outdoor games as well, like badminton, cricket, tennis, and baseball. Stay fit and healthy in a way you want!
