With the Purpose to Promote Better Mental Health, Prince Harry Joins BetterUp

There is at present a Tsunami of mental illness, believe several psychiatrists. Perhaps it is the right time that Prince Harry of Britain decides to take up a job at the mental fitness organization, BetterUp to promote the cause of mental health.

We all commonly know Henry Charles Albert David of Wales as Prince Harry, son of Charles and late Lady Diana, the Prince and Princess of Wales. Prince Harry along with his wife was trending in news last year because of the decision of the couple to quit as working members of Britain’s Royal Family. This was an incident that people had never anticipated.

When people had settled down with his latest status, Prince Harry is making news again with his recent job as Chief Impact Officer at the mental health organization, BetterUp. The job title suits his persona. It is no doubt that he would be a very impactful person to work for the cause of mental health. Working for a cause is something that comes naturally to the Prince. He had been inclined towards it since he was a little boy and has done tremendous work in this arena.

The job responsibility of Prince Harry would encompass public advocacy on issues related to mental health, charitable contributions, and strategic planning and decision-making of the services provided by the organization. He is being considered a perfect fit for this job role because it's not just another celebrity endorsement or publicity stunt. He lost his mother, Lady Diana at the tender age of 12 and since then had been struggling to come to terms with the loss leading to bouts of mental breakdown or close enough to it on several occasions. Having encountered grief of a life-time so closely, it appears that he would be working towards his job role with complete dedication.

In a blog after this new development, Prince Harry brings forward the idea that if individuals prioritize their mental fitness, they would be able to unlock several potentials that lie within themselves to achieve more. " We must proactively take care of our minds. What I’ve learned in my own life is the power of transforming pain into purpose," mentions Prince Harry in the blog.
