10 simple and effective home remedies for toothache

Toothache can be excruciatingly painful. It can affect people of any age group. When you can't go out in this pandemic time, trying out simple home remedies can be fruitful

If we do not take proper care of our teeth, then there is a possibility of tooth decay. And it generally starts with a toothache. Toothache is often unbearable. It becomes very difficult to deal with it. It can affect your daily routine. Moreover, your food, sleep and everything is affected badly. It can be sharp and sudden, dull or constant or it may come and go. Toothaches are often worse at night. So, let’s find out the different ways which can be beneficial

Potato - If there is swelling along with the pain in the teeth, then peel a potato and keep a slice of it in the painful area for 15 minutes, it will help in getting rid of the pain soon.

Green tea bag - Boil the green tea bag in hot water and then apply it to the affected area, by doing this you can minimize the intensity of pain.

Ice - Apply ice cubes to the painful area for 15-20 minutes, repeat it 2-3 times a day. It will give relief in pain.

Brandy – At the time of any toothache, soak some brandy in a cotton ball and apply it on the painful area, it will help relieve pain.

Mustard oil - Mix 2-4 drops of mustard oil in a pinch of salt and then massage the gums with it, this will give relief in toothache and teeth will become shinier and stronger.

Garlic - Mixing garlic bud with salt and then applying it on the affected part provides relief. Apart from this, chewing a garlic bud every morning gives relief to toothache and makes the teeth strong. There are many more benefits of eating garlic buds which are very beneficial for the body.

Clove - Clove is considered to be the best in getting rid of toothache. For this, dip a cotton ball in clove oil, then keep it in the affected part for some time. It will help in reducing the pain. Put two buds of clove at the place where the tooth is hurting, it will get relieved soon.

Onion - Eating raw onion daily in the morning provides relief in toothache. According to doctors, having a slice of onion after every 3 minutes kills the germs present inside the mouth.

Lemon - Lemon is rich in vitamin C and is very beneficial in toothache. Applying a piece of lemon in the affected part, pain will be relieved soon.

Black pepper powder - Mix a pinch of black pepper powder in a quarter tablespoon, then apply the prepared paste on the painful area, it will provide relief in pain.
