▴ 2,901 new cases of coronavirus registered in Andhra Pradesh
A total of 2,901 new corona virus cases were registered in Andhra Pradesh yesterday and now the state's tally reached 8,11,825.

A total of 2,901 new corona virus cases were registered in Andhra Pradesh yesterday and now the state's tally reached 8,11,825. As many as 4,352 persons have recovered during the past 24 hours. The death toll has increased to 6,625 as 19 more people succumbed to the novel Corona virus disease so far.
 

There has been a tremendous increase in the recovery rate of Covid, 19 cases. A total 76,96,653 samples have been tested so far in Andhra Pradesh, while 6,625  Covid deaths reported so far. The highest number of 555 positive cases have been recorded in West Godavari followed by East Godavri District with 464 cases during the 24 hours time. Andhra Pradesh tested 74,757 Covid-19 samples on Tuesday and detected 2,901 new cases. 


Of the 19 deaths reported on Tuesday, four are from Y. S.R. Kadapa, three each from Chittoor and Krishna, two each from East Godavari and Prakasham and one each from Anantapur, Guntur, Kurnool, Visakhaptnam and West Godavari Districts. Andhra Pradesh has so far conducted 76.96 lakh Covid,19 Tests with an overall case positivity rate of 10.5 %.

The mortality rate remained stable at 0.81 %. On the other hand, the state is doing an intensive campaign on, Wearing Mask, in the name,  MASKE KAVACHAM, ( mask alone is the armour ) and which is yielding very good results.
