▴ Over 41 lakh healthcare workers vaccinated against COVID-19 so far: Govt
The Covid vaccination drive will start for frontline workers by the end of the week

The countrywide COVID-19 vaccination program was conducted successfully on the eighteenth day yesterday. The vaccination program was launched on the 16th of January. The Ministry of Health said that 1,70,585 beneficiaries were vaccinated through 3,785 sessions yesterday.

The cumulative number of healthcare workers vaccinated against COVID-19 has now crossed 41 lakhs and so far a total of 41,20,741beneficiaries were vaccinated through 76,516 sessions.

In two states, Gujarat and West Bengal, initiated vaccination of frontline workers yesterday and 19,902 frontline workers have been vaccinated.

On National Polio Immunization Drive, the Ministry said that the countrywide drive was conducted successfully on the third day yesterday and a total of 11.04 crore children under five years across the country have been given polio drops so far.
