  1. Eat a balanced and nutrient-rich diet

Avoid eating unhealthy foods like junk and processed foods, as well as excessive fried foods. Eat home cooked food and stay away from chili and spices. Consume more fruits and vegetables. Make green leafy vegetables, lentils, beans, legumes etc a part of the diet. This will not only help in keeping the heart pumping regular, but will also keep the heart healthy.
