65 of the 70 passengers who were admitted to various hospitals on the backdrop of Coronavirus have been discharged from the hospitals recently. Presently, five of them are under observation; two in Mumbai and three of them in hospitals in Pune city. The 14 day follow up of 142 passengers out of a total of 228 arrived in the state from the affected areas, was completed. This information was given by health minister Mr Rajesh Tope.
A total of 39 thousand 784 passengers who arrived at the Mumbai International Airport were screened till date. 70 people were admitted in various Quarantine wards of various hospitals across the state since 18 January 2020 following complaints of fever cold and cough. Out of these, the samples of 66 people sent to the National Institute of virology (NIV) Pune were found negative. 65 of them had been discharged from the hospitals, the health minister added.
