Twenty percent of the Agra residents who took the tests gave wrong name and address , later they were identified and warned by police

A relief report has emerged for the most affected Agra district of Uttar Pradesh amid the fast-growing corona infection in the country. According to health department data, a survey of 43 lakh people was conducted in Agra in the last 10 days.

Of these, only 671 people were investigated as suspicious. The shocking thing is that out of these 671 people, only one person has been confirmed for infection.13,846 teams surveyed 8.43 lakh homes to carry out sample tests. In the survey, maximum people complain of cough and were treated with Anti-malarial-viral medicines while 20 percent of the people who were tested gave the wrong address.

According to India Today, District Magistrate Prabhu N. Singh of Agra said that after the survey it can be said that the number of people with symptoms of coronavirus in the district is very less. If the people of the district do not unnecessarily get out of the houses, wear masks while going out, follow the social distancing and keep the house clean by regularly washing hands, then this epidemic can be easily defeated, he added.

Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Dr. RC Pandey said that to prevent the spread of the corona epidemic, 13,846 teams formed for the district surveyed 43,67,108 people, reaching 8,43,379 homes. People's body temperature, oxygen content, beats were tested in this. Similarly, information about returning from other states, contact with an infected, fever, cough, etc. was obtained. The CMO said that the maximum number of cough complaints was found in 1,848 people during the survey. Apart from this, 1,126 people had reported fever and 1,212 people had trouble breathing.

After the survey, 671 patients with Suture Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI) were taken and tested in the virology lab of SN Medical College. In this, a 52-year-old Janeen resident has been diagnosed with an infection.


The CMO said that a total of 4,186 people with fever, cold and cough and respiratory problems were monitored by giving them anti-malarial and anti-viral drugs. Similarly, all the people involved in the survey were also given multivitamins and vitamin C pills.

District Magistrate Singh said that now no person conducting the investigation will be able to leave the city for 36 hours. Similarly, he will be sent to the isolation center within six hours of being found infected.

In the last 24 hours in India, 32,695 new cases of coronavirus were reported and 606 patients died due to this. These are the highest number of cases reported in a single day so far. Earlier yesterday, there were 29,429 new cases.

With this, the total number of cases in the country has crossed 9 lakh to 9,68,876, while 24,915 people have died due to corona infection. The number of active cases is 3,31,146.

The number of patients recovering is also increasing rapidly and 20,783 patients were cured in the last 24 hours. With this, the number of patients recovering in the country has increased to 6,12,815, which is 63.25 percent of the total cases.3,26,826 tests were done across the country in the last 24 hours, which is the highest in a day so far. A total of 1.27 crore tests have been done in the country so far.


Globally, so far 1.35 crore people have been infected with this dangerous virus and 5.83 lakh people have died while India ranks third in terms of a number of infected and eighth in terms of deaths.
