Best Home Remedy for Sore Throat And Runny Nose

Today, we will discuss a home remedy that will not only give you relief from a runny nose and sore throat but will also help in providing the body with the ability to fight diseases in the long run.

These days the weather is changing in most parts of the country. Sometimes due to rain, sometimes due to sunlight, many problems like cold, cold, cough, and sore throat increase these days. In the changing season, the elderly and children of the house are most prone to diseases. In the era of the corona, just taking symptoms like cold, cough, sore throat, and runny nose can increase your anxiety in the future. If you see symptoms like sore throat and runny nose during the monsoon season, then for this you can try the home remedy.

You can prepare it with just a few things you have in your kitchen.

Ingredients for mixing

  • Mint leaves
  • Celery
  • Fenugreek seeds
  • Turmeric lump or powder

How to prepare the mix

  • To prepare it, take 2 glasses of water.
  • Mix 1 teaspoon of carom seeds in this water
  • Now add a handful of mint to it and heat it.
  • After it becomes slightly hot, add half a teaspoon of fenugreek
  • Add half a lump of turmeric or half a teaspoon of turmeric powder.
  • Boil this mixture on a medium flame for 7-10 minutes.

How to use

It can be used in three ways.

  1. Steaming

According to the doctor, those who are using this mixture for steaming, have to use it immediately after preparing it. Its effect will end once it cools down. You can use it 2 to 3 times a day.

  1. In the form of a decoction

People using this mixture in the form of a decoction may feel a little bitter in the taste, in such a situation, you can consume it by adding honey. This mixture should be consumed in the morning on an empty stomach or 1 to 2 hours after having a meal.

  1. To gargle

For gargling, a lukewarm of this mixture is necessary. You can gargle with it 3 times a day to remove problems like sore throat and blocked nose.

If you do not get relief with home remedies from problems like cold, cough, and cold during the monsoon season, then contact your doctor. Keep in mind that every person's body is different, so not every recipe may be helpful in providing relief to every person.
