In Bihar, a task force will be constituted at the block level in each district for free covid vaccination in the state.

In- Charge of Primary Health Centres have been instructed in this regard.
 

Health Minister Mangal Pandey said this step has been taken to enable vaccination in rural areas of the state.
 
Mr. Pandey said vaccination will be given on lines of pulse polio vaccination.

 
Besides health workers, health officials will be also engaged in vaccination work.
 
Meanwhile, 2,41,935 patients have so far recovered from the Covid-19 infection in the state.
 
The number of active cases is continuously declining and currently stands at 4,730. In the last 24 hours, 577 patients have recovered, while 497 new COVID-19 cases were reported.
 
The recovery rate has improved to 97.54 percent in Bihar.
