Mr Gates was speaking to India's Public Broadcaster DD News on the promises 'Grand Challenges' holds in fighting the pandemic of today and the future. 

'Grand Challenges' is a family of initiatives fostering innovation to solve key global health and development problems. The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is one of the partners of the 'Grand Challenges'.
