India reported 50 deaths and 1383 new cases reported in the last 24 hours as the country's total number of positive cases stands at 19,984 (including 3870 cured/discharged/migrated and 640 deaths).

To have a check on the current economic fallout the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) will meet at Prime Minister Narendra Modi's residence - 7, Lok Kalyan Marg - on Wednesday, reports ANI. It will be followed by a Cabinet meeting at the Prime Minister's residence. This comes amid nationwide lockdown in the wake of COVID-19.
