▴ Coronavirus Only one person under observation says MH Health Minister Mr. Rajesh Tope
"There is no confirmed patient of coronavirus in the state. Four flights land every week from China. We are scanning passengers for symptoms of coronavirus," Mr. Rajesh Tope said.

Only one person in the entire state has been kept under observation on the backdrop of Coronavirus. He had been admitted to the hospital in Pune. To date, 86 people were discharged from the hospitals and screening of passengers from China and the other nine nations is been carried out at the Mumbai international airport. More human resources have been provided from the public health department and Municipal Corporation for the purpose of assistance in screening. This information was given by health minister Mr. Rajesh Tope here, today.
To date, 52 thousand 229 passengers arriving at Mumbai International Airport by 425 airbuses were screened. According to the new instructions of the union government, the passengers arriving from China, Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, South Korea, Japan and also from Nepal, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Malaysia are screened at the international airport.
Passengers arriving in the state from the affected regions are searched through the regional surveys. Until today, 297 passengers have arrived in the state from the affected areas and out of them; the 14 days follow up of 221 passengers had been completed. 87 people were admitted to various Quarantine (isolated) wards since January 18 following complaints of fever, cold and cough. Out of these, the laboratory reports of 86 people were found negative for Corona. These reports were given by the National Institute of Virology (NIV), Pune. Till today, 86 of the 87 people were discharged from the hospitals and presently only one is admitted to a hospital at Pune.
