One more doctor and 11 nursing staff at the Delhi State Cancer Institute reported positive for coronavirus on Monday.So far, 18 staff members, including two doctors, have tested positive for the disease.
It started with one doctor being tested positive last week, followed by which the hospital was sealed for disinfection.The first doctor got the infection from the relatives, and the nurses were tested after they came in contact with the doctor.The hospital has started an inquiry on the spread of the virus.
Not just the Cancer Institute, but doctors from AIIMS, Safdarjung and Mohalla Clinics have also tested positive for the infection in the last few days.
Meanwhile, 3 Wockhardt Hospital doctors have tested positive in Mumbai and this news has revealed how huge the danger is on all the frontline workers. Apart from them, 40 nurses have tested positive as well. Now, the hospital has been sealed.
