Autism is a neural developmental disorder which affects a kid’s social interaction, verbal and nonverbal communication. It also restricts his / her actions. Repetitiveness in actions is also a characteristic of Autism.
Autism cannot be diagnosed by any medical tests or examination. Moreover, no two Autism affected children have the same symptoms. This makes the life of the parents difficult as trying to understand the Autistic child becomes challenging. Reaching out to the kid is the toughest part as the kid is comfortable in his / her own private world.
There is no sure shot cure to Autism. Occasionally children recover on their own, meaning they stop showing symptoms of Autism. Affected children can acquire language by the age of 5 of even before. Though symptoms lose their severity with age, core difficulties tend to persist making the lives of Autism affect child very miserable.
Parents need to learn to cope with the stress, trauma and the worries that accompany the problem. To cope with the pressure, parents should start some hobby, visit friends, and learn new ways to relax, seek and accept support from others, talk with doctors and go for some counselling, if need be.
