Effective tips to make you happy and your hair healthy

Hair loss is a fairly common occurrence, but did you know Oiling could also be the cause of hair fall? 35 million men and 21 million women suffer from hair loss.

Hair loss from a specific area of the head or body is referred to as "hair fall." The head is usually  somewhat engaged. Hair loss can occur anywhere on the body, but most commonly it affects the scalp. Hair loss is also called alopecia. It can also be temporary or permanent.

The cells in the root of the hair divide rapidly. A new hair is formed and pushes the club hair (a hair that has stopped growing or is no longer in the active phase of the hair) up the follicle and eventually out. During this phase ,the hair grows about 1 cm every 28 days.

Symptoms of hairfall

  • Patchy or circular bald patches
  • sudden hair shedding
  • body-wide hair loss
  • scaling that appears in large patches all over the scalp
  • Gradual thinning on top of the head
  • Estrogen and progesterone levels fall in females

Long-term oil exposure can block pores, prevent oxygen from reaching the hair, damage the hair, cause boils on the scalp, and finally cause hair loss. Additionally, individuals with dandruff or a naturally oily scalp should avoid oiling.

The majority of people around the globe will lose more hair than they ever imagined, starting at age 35 with a 40% loss rate for males and increasing to a 70% loss rate for men at age 80, and they will need professional services to help them recover their hair. Women who have hair loss will account for about 80% of cases by the age of 60.

Prevention of hair loss

Hair loss is a side effect of deficiency of vitamin D in your body. One function of vitamin D is to stimulate both young and elderly hair follicles. New hair development may be slowed down if your body is deficient in vitamin D.

The most pervasive hair-washing myth, of the many that exist, is that excessive shampooing causes hair loss. Actually, the chemical-based shampoo you use, not the act of washing your hair, is what may cause it to become dry and brittle and eventually cause hair loss.

A balanced diet is necessary for maintaining healthy hair. Additionally, foods such as eggs, carrots, oats, spinach and dairy products can help hair grow rapidly.
