Total death due to COVID-19 reaches to 3,638

Gujarat recorded 1091 new Covid cases during the last 24 hours. The recovery rate has reached up to 88.68 per cent. It was reported that the number of new cases detected in Gujarat dropped below the 1100 mark. Total 1 lakh 41 thousand 652 patients recovered from COVID-19 till now. 1233 patients recovered during the last 24 hours. More than 53,74,000  tests have been carried out in the state till date. Maximum 239 new cases reported from Surat, while Ahmedabad recorded 183 new cases.

At present total, active cases in the state are 14,436, out of which 74 patients are on a ventilator. 9 patients died yesterday taking the total deaths due to COVID-19 up to 3,638. 

Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation has added 7 new areas in the micro containment zone following the detection of new cases.

Gujarat Govt requested people to remember that festivals are no reason to forget that we are still fighting the COVID-19 pandemic. Take all the necessary precautions to stay safe when you go out for shopping or festival celebrations
