Happy Ratio will make Nutrition a Happy Habit

0.5% of deaths in India are caused due to nutritional deficiencies. Happy Ratio want to change this and make India nutritionally rich with its healthy drink formulation.

0.5% of deaths in India are caused due to nutritional deficiencies. The lack of nutrition also causes an annual loss of 0.8 to 2.5% of our GDP. Worse is that one-third of the world’s stunted kids reside in India. A major cause of this is the lack of awareness regarding the right nutrition.

Harsh Batra too was facing nutritional deficiencies. While researching nutrition, he realised how impractical and inconvenient it was to gain the right nutrients through food. He realised that to gain the 30+ essential nutrients one would have to eat too much of too many things. This was simply not possible in one’s fast-paced life. With people always on the move, the incidents of skipping breakfast and ordering fast food were highly common.

His solution to the problem was Happy Ratio. Happy Ratio is a complete nutrition blend that consists of all the dietary intakes recommended by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). He decided to work with scientists, nutritionists, pharmacologists and world-class manufacturers to keep on updating the product to keep up with the science.

Instead of working as a supplement, Happy Ratio’s drink can replace one’s entire meal with a single glass of this drink. It is super easy to use making it an easy habit to follow. Their formulation has been dubbed as the future of food and it contains perfectly proportioned carbs, fats, proteins, minerals and vitamins. It gets steadily absorbed in the bloodstream within 4 hours, keeping people active throughout the day.

The venture has received $150,000 in its angel fund round from ah! Ventures. A study carried out by the ICMR found that 90.1% of adolescent girls are suffering from anaemia. So in 2019, Happy Ratio partnered with Yuwa to provide their complete nutrition drink to 100,000 girls in Jharkhand. Jharkhand is one of India’s cities with the most cases of malnutrition. At the same time, this state witnesses 6 out of 10 girls dropping school for child marriage. Their campaign #YehHaiMeriLife, coincided with India’s National Sports Day.

Will Happy Ratio with its easy to use and complete nutrition formula make Nutrition a Happy Habit for a Healthy India?
