In a difference in rules, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has said it will lead tests for asymptomatic patients for the novel coronavirus simply following five days of isolation on the off chance that they show side effects.

According to orders gave on Thursday, asymptomatic patients will be mandatorily isolated for 14 days, yet their swab test won't be gathered right away. Rather, tests of those in isolation will be gathered between the fifth and fourteenth day, if they create side effects.

The BMC, which was as of not long ago directing swab trial of high-hazard contacts of coronavirus patients when they were isolated, has made the move to stay away from the chance of "bogus negatives". Of the absolute test directed by the city body, 4.5% came out positive.

Samajwadi Party MLA from Bhiwandi, Rais Shaikh, scrutinized the move and said the new rules could prompt a counterfeit feeling of leveling of the bend.
