Mumbai is a worst-hit city across the country with a count of Coronavirus cases touching 1500-mark with 101 fatalities thus far. In a strict measure to curb deadly COVID-19 spread the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has recognized nearly 400 containment zone in the city. Worli is one of the epicenters of COVID-19 cases sharing 20% of total cases in Mumbai BMC declared Worli Koliwada, as containment zone and the movement of people have been strictly restricted in the vicinity. Not surprising, slums in the Mumbai suburbs have become the easy hotbeds of COVID-19 and BMC has attributed the rise in numbers to the aggressive testing in slums like Worli Koliwada, BDD Chawl, and Jijamata Nagar areas.
