Dr. Pradeep Goyal, the manager of the District Blindness Control Society, confirmed the initiation of a probe by a three-member committee to ascertain the reasons behind the observed side-effects among these patients. The hospital’s managing trustee, Ashwini Verma, denied any negligence on the part of the hospital, attributing the patients reactions to unknown factors. He assured that all affected individuals received appropriate treatment and were subsequently discharged from the hospital.
