As per the latest figures, 12,982 patients were discharged from various hospitals across state while the number of new cases was 10,244. Thus, the tally of recovered patients has reached 11,62,584 and the recovery rate has touched 80%

Maharashtra has seen a drop in daily number of Corona positive patients since last few days while the number of recoveries has been steadily increasing.
 
As per the latest figures, 12,982 patients were discharged from various hospitals across state while the number of new cases was 10,244. Thus, the tally of recovered patients has reached 11,62,584 and the recovery rate has touched 80 per cent.

Pune city, which till now had highest number of positive cases in state too has seen a turnaround. It is reported, as per the information given by the Pune District Administration, presently there are only 37,106 active cases in Pune.

 
The active cases in the district which stood at 41 and 31 per cent respectively in the months of May and July has now come town to 10 per cent.
 
There has been a decrease of 6,000 patients in the number of active cases as compared to last week’s number. Pune district reported 1,240 new Corona virus cases in last 24 hours.
 
However, Mumbai continues to report high numbers with a spike of nearly 1,800 new cases.
 
Meanwhile, hotels, restaurants, food courts and bars across state opened on Monday. Hotel and Restaurant Association of Western India (HRAWI) Senior Vice President Pradeep Shetty in a statement said, the option to re-open restaurants comes as a big relief. Yet, not all restaurants are geared up to re-open immediately.

The staff crunch and repair issues need to handled. He said, only around 30 per cent of the restaurants have opened the rest will re-open gradually.
