Neutral Atom launches Spectra360 to fight against COVID-19: A UV disinfecting tower

In response to the current COVID-19, Neutral Atom, a home automation start-up has introduced Spectra 360, a UV sanitizing and disinfecting tower. Spectra 360 is a chemical-free disinfectant method and a UV-based sanitizing light that promises to kill 99% germs like SARS CoV-2/COVID-19, certified by Council of Scientific and Industrial Research. This is in line with the company's commitment to serving the community.

Neutral Atom has always adopted a consumer-centric approach to fulfil home and industrial automation requirements. The current Coronavirus pandemic has impacted individuals and organisations alike, forever changing the dynamics of human lifestyle through social distancing. Amid the lockdown, it's vital to step out for essentials. There's an invisible threat lurking everywhere. Moreover, there are growing concerns such as while one can sanitize, place the essential items in the sun or simply wash them, one can never be too sure. Also, while clean room reduces the risk of infections, spraying harmful disinfectant can cause irritation. Or else, one may not be sure about if the chemical is pure enough to kill viruses. Further, one may be worried about recurring chemical disinfectant cost.

Commenting on the launch of Spectra360, Mr Amit More, CEO & Founder, & Mr Amit Dalvi, COO & Co-Founder Neutral Atom said, "As the Indian economy is recovering from the Coronavirus pandemic and coping with the 'new normal', it is crucial to give utmost priority to the health and safety of each and every individual. Since it is the need of the hour to develop disinfectant equipment that controls the pandemic, our Spectra360 compliment the immediate and long-term need for safety. This is something that the next generation would require, and it is as necessary as having an air conditioner in ATMs, hospitals, restaurants or corporate offices."

As an aspiring start-up, the brand has addressed the survival of the virus on surfaces. With Spectra360, one need not have to take any chances with the sanitization process. It has a 99.9% kill rate of viruses and germs. This has been proven by doing a microbiological test on-site and also tested by CSIR. Spectra360 effectively prevents cross-infection in high-risk areas such as Hotels, Hospitals, Factories and Offices. The key highlights of Spectra360 include:

Fastest: UV-C is the fastest way to disinfect as it kills microbes in less than 25 minutes for a room size of 16 x 16 ft.

Chemical-Free: Spectra360 is absolutely free of any chemicals and guarantees 100% safety as it leaves behind no residue.

Toxic-Free: Spectra360 does not leave any toxic fumes in the environment.

Easy to use with the smartphone app and can be operated through android devices. Unlike other UV disinfectant equipment, Spectra360 has built-in Passive IR (PIR) Sensor which ensures that it's absolutely safe for everyone. Any human coming in the vicinity of the device, sensors detect and automatically pauses the device to ensure human safety from exposure to UV-C Irradiance. The absence of recurring cost for chemicals is yet another highlight of Spector360. This equipment can be controlled by Bluetooth 5.0 and 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi enabled smart device. Its easy-to-use interface ensures using the device is easy for all the users.
